Recorded at a cabin on the Siletz River near the Oregon Coast in December 2014, River Valley Sessions captures an exciting year of songwriting, live shows, and growth for the folk band, Wooden Sleepers. The album is entirely self produced and represents the collaborative nature of the band. Their lyrical content is reminiscent of travel, romance, and the beauty of nature. The album was released on February 20th, 2015 and features artwork by longtime friend and photographer Alex Kocher.

The style of this album captures a very free and raw creative expression from this emerging artist while first exploring what it means to be a songwriter. It's comprised of live takes of his first songs. The recordings are crisp and clean, intended to make the listener feel like they are taking in a living room performance. These acoustic sessions were recorded between fall 2011 and spring 2012.
